Transport Department new Rules: Even if you wear a helmet while going out on the road, you may still have to face a fine. And this fine is not for anything else but you may have to pay extra for the helmet only.

A new circular rule has been issued by the Transport Department in the country. Now people riding bikes in Patna, the capital of Bihar, need to be more cautious. Now the helmet of people riding a bike will not be checked only by looking at the helmet but will be done by looking at its brand and the hallmark of Indian Standard on it.

In Patna, two-wheeler drivers are already being caught without helmets through cameras. Now, based on the new circular, a fine of ₹ 1000 will have to be paid immediately for wearing a non-standard helmet.

It has also been made clear in this circular that now the team from the Transport Department will also raid shopkeepers and if they are found with non-standard helmets, a fine of ₹ 100,000 will be imposed on them.
