School Holiday: The School Education Department has approved the proposal for school holidays sent by the Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI).

CG News: This is good news for school children, the state government has announced winter holidays and summer holidays for them apart from Dussehra, Diwali, the holidays declared by Chhattisgarh School Education Department are for a total of 64 days, i.e. in these 64 days Schools will not open.

School Education Department’s approval on DPI’s proposal

Chhattisgarh government has announced Dussehra, Diwali holidays for the academic session 2023-24 and has also issued orders for winter and summer holidays in the state. The School Education Department has approved the proposal for school holidays sent by the Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI).

Schools will remain closed for a total of 64 days

The School Education Department has also issued orders regarding holidays. According to the order, during this period of teaching, schools will remain closed for a total of 64 days i.e. there will be a holiday in schools. This includes six days of Dussehra, six days of Diwali, six days of winter vacation and 45 days of summer vacation.
