In the ever-evolving landscape of the automotive industry, Honda, one of the renowned Japanese automakers, has made headlines with its recent sales figures for October 2023. With a total domestic sales count of 9,400 units, Honda Cars India has had an interesting month. However, the twist in the tale is that this number is slightly lower compared to last year’s October sales, which stood at 9,543 units. On the flip side, Honda has seen a significant boost in its exports, with 3,683 units shipped abroad in October 2023, compared to a mere 1,678 units in October 2022. This brings the total monthly sales for Honda Cars India in October 2023 to 13,083 units, encompassing both domestic and export markets.

Despite the somewhat surprising dip in domestic sales for October, Honda remains optimistic about the upcoming festive season, with Dhanteras and Diwali just around the corner. Yuichi Murata, Director (Sales and Marketing) at Honda Cars India Limited, expressed his views, saying, “We are approaching the auspicious festivals of Dhanteras and Diwali, and our dealerships will be focused on delivering more and making customers part of the Honda family.” He also highlighted that the new SUV, the Elevate, has garnered good market response.
